I am not a big conspiracy freak, however after doing my own research from many different sources, it all points to the same thing. 

Yes 1100 degrees may weaken the steel, but it would never melt it.

Something everyone forgets too...the north tower was hit first...u remember the big fireball??? that was the MAJORITY of the jet fuel cooking off.  The fire that raged inside the building was mostly office furntiure, drywall, chairs, carpet, etc.  That would never burn high enough to melt steel.

Another interesting thing to think about is that the Empire State Building was hit DEAD ON by a B-52 bomber.  It didn't fall.  It didn't melt.  It didn't implode.  This is a building built without any kind of reinforced steel support girders, blah blah blah.

I agree with most of what you said Gene. Great facts. I know that the pentagon thingy is pretty fishey. But I don't think anyone will know the truth behind 9/11 unless you are dead. In some aspects I think our government was a helping hand in 9/11 but also 'lost control' of things during it and tried push their own agendas when this happened. Cover-ups misleadings and such. Well what was weakened by the heat of the burning jet-fuel was the bolts holding the floor trusses that stretched from the outer shell of the building to the inner core of the building. The building was designed and built with speed and cost as main factors...not strength. The Empire State Building is a much stronger building. If the floor trusses had been welded to the vertical columns rather than bolted, it may have been a different story.

As for the whole government conspiracy thing its kinda similar to the whole Pearl Harbor conspiracy of "Did the Government allow Pearl Harbor to happen so we could get in WWII?"

Both possibilities are bad: The government "allowed" 9-11 to happen or the government was too stupid to stop 9-11. Im from the generation that grew up thinking James Bond or "True Lies" type movies were based somewhat in reality...The belief that somewhere there are people being paid to protect this country and that those people do more than sit around and collect a check.

One thing I will admit, is that I would be afraid to work for an agency like the CIA or FBI for fear that I would be told not to come to certain conclusions....... and to interpret facts only to support official policies. This is what scares me....that these agencies dont attract the best minds or most ethical people.

The "specialists" who made up the theories recently admitted it was a hoax and they were paid by George Soros's media agency to lie. You will be finding that soon on Dateline.

It was a conspiracy however, but it was a conspiracy of radical Islam members and people who were outright jealous of America. In Saddam's palace #1 in his alcohol room the military found a painting of the twin towers burning, painted by one of osama's top aids. It was signed and said "thanks for the support".

Soros is an evil bastard, but considering how like many other billion/millionaires, he's heavily invested in thinktanks, policy farms and other groups, you could point a finger at him for any occurrence around the globe. Besides, there's more than a couple of specialists around the world promoting different theories about this. Dateline is a half step up from fluff anyway.

I'd like to see some evidence of this painting, because that sounds laughably ridiculous. It being painted by Osama's aide is just too much. I don't agree that "left-wing scum" are the ones spreading hurtful rumors. Remember the one about Saddam being weeks to months away from striking us with WMD?

You can't pigeonhole this to just some fringe ultra-liberal groups, some of the loudest proponents of these theories are what I would consider hard right wingers. Personally, I don't expect the truth to ever come out, since the connections and dealings between our govt and other high placed people and Saudi Arabia are just too embarrassing to reveal to voters.

Your failing to understand that conspiracies are saying that 9/11 was carried out by the government. Not that the government allowed it to happen. Did you read my post at all? Did you ever watch the Loose Change video?

Also, what proof do you have that the government didn't carry out 9/11? Give me some facts. I did quite a lot of research and obviously couldn't fit it all in one post; however, I tried my best to explain and question quite a few things.

I'm waiting for someone to answer some of my questions. Don't start spewing stuff out of your mouth without proof. I almost died laughing when a certain person stated that jet fuel is the cause of the towers collapsing because it weakened the steel. Their explanation was because well jet fuel burns hot and they know. Give me a break.

And nobody was listening when the real media were sounding the alarms. Now the administration has probably rotted the foundations of our govt and the constitution beyond repair. The evidence is going to come out sooner or later, the aides are retiring because the Justice Department is catching up with them, not because of conscience (anyone who works for this administration has none).

Umm, except I made that statement after I made my other post. I know the above statement sounded like I know everything. I was merely pointing out that I did quite a lot of research from different websites and therefore this is why I made my previous post on page 2. I watched the Loose Change video first over a year ago and then did the research myself only to find the same answers.

Gene you put up alot of good info. I agree with most of what you said, but the biggest thing i keep seeing on the WTC area of this is, FUEL CANT MELT TITANIUM. Ok, we got that. everyone knows this. but what i have yet to notice is that no one has even thougth about the fact that a 185 ton airliner going 500-600+ mph crashed into a 110 story building, that was built with the main supports on the outside. Not only that but if you take a good look at the diagrams you provided of how the planes hit, you can see the south tower took more damage. How? Well the plane went ini at an angle takeing out half of one wall and takeing out nearly all of the other. And this all goes back to, the main supports are on the outside of the building, not the inside like conventional buildings. Now the North tower was hit directly right? But if you look at the diagram you see it hit and took out one wall plus the interior of the building. Now like i said before the main supports were on the outside, so if the south tower lost more supports than the north, then wouldnt it fall sooner? Now Doc brings up a good point of the jet fuel didnt really go into the building.
I agree with that 100%, but enough still went in to cuase a fire hot enough to get to about 1,100 degrees did it not? Therefore if you add the extreme amount of damage obviously cuased by the airliner and the jet fuel WEAKENING NOT MELTING the supports, then dont you think the tower just might fall, considering its still holding up 20 floors. Understand that im not saying the jet fuel cuased the tower to fall. To finish off with the twin towers, Doc put that a B-52 hit the empire state in 1945, when in fact it was a B-25 which is much, much smaller than a B-25, and a airliner. Plus on top of that back in those days they didnt use fuel that burned at 1,100 degrees.

p.s. If i remember right, one of genes vids said something about fire retardent on the support beams, which adds to the point of how could the supports be weakened. Well to answer that, i highly, highly doubt that the fire retardent is gonna stay on the supports considering a 185 ton airliner completely tore apart a side of a building made of titanium.

As for flight 93, i do believe if at the proper rate of speed it could almost completely vaporize. There have been plenty of plane crashes before where the plane was going half the speed and still barely anyting was found. With Flt. 93 it was not only going full speed but also going pretty much straight down, even though reports say it kinda did a little flip before impact.

As for everything else you have said gene, doc, and knifey i also agree 110% especially on the pentagon part. I think it is total BS they are feeding us. Not only that but becuase of the pentagon, I also believe the gov. may have had something to do with the WTC, one of the most convincing reasons is Northern Air Defense or NORAD sent out 3 or 4 f-16's to intercept flt. 93. But for one reason or another they sent them the opposite way. Now i would love to know how a country who spends billions in defense and military tech, cant figure out where one airliner is over its own soil.

Taking a step back for a moment, Al Quida was originally armed and trained by the us goverment during the cold war so its not like we didnt know them. And for the pentagon thing, i cant imagine a plane vaporizing into the side of the pentagon without doing alot more damage.

I dunno about that, from what I know about it, they built it compartmentalized so that if something did happen, it would be localized to one area and the rest would still be able to operate.

I bring your attention to this Bob (i didn't want to quote your whole thread).  Show me an airliner crash where everything was vaporized.  I'll save you some time.  You can't.

The only 2 times in the history of aviation that a plane, passengers, blackbox, engines, etc  were ever  "completely vaporized" were the plane that hit the Pentagon, and Flight 93 that landed in a field.

This is easily researched.  There is always wreckage.  Fuck, the space shuttle was going a bajillion miles an hour, it exploded in a HUGE EXPLOSION with ROCKET FUEL in quantities a hell of alot bigger than a passenger plane, and there was still pieces of the shuttle all over the place.

That has to make you scratch your head 

I will be happy to have a "pic" war with you of various crash sites...just find me one that would convince me that a plane that size hit the pentagon...or crashed in the open field.
