Hey [BDS] Firefighter_Joe: 
    I've just returned from a weekend with my girlfriend.  I just wanted to give you the heads up that I'm still listed as banned under the server.  I know you mentioned in the one posting about the ban log file being re-uploaded, but as of approx. 4:50am Eastern, I'm still locked.  Also, I know I didn't get re-banned as I've been off the computer for the past couple days.  Please check up on that and get back to me.  (Then we can either lock or delete this thread, no one likes airing dirty laundry)

Also, (general) quick question.     I've been reading in the threads about "kill stealing" lately in this ban thread.    From the rules that I've seen posted on the server, there's nothing 'technically' listed about this.   Needless to say, I'm somewhat unfamiliar with the concept.  Can someone give me a quick definition?  Obviously you can't tell in close fire when a sniper is going to take a shot on your opponent.  But I suppose this refers to knife fighters not being interfered with?  Or not bothering clan members trying to 'show something' on a map?    While I don't believe I've ever been guilty of any of this, GunGame's tend to get a little intense, so I'd like to know server *Rules of Etiquette* so I don't ever have to end up on these parts of the board again.  Also, if I'm not the only person to ask about this, link me to wherever else it may have been already explained.

Etiquette is a good word to use on this subject. Stilling someone's kill is just poor manners. By definition of this is, you are running at an opponent shooting taking him down in health and the guy behind you gets on e shot in and that the final shot that kills your guy that you just lost 60% health over. Thats kill stealing.

I don't normally do this kind of action but it does happen from time to time with every one. I mistakenly did it last night. I was running and gunning and as I dropped on a ledge, I shot at a guy that was about to be knifed and killed him. The worse part was that it was the winning knife. One I realized what I had done I instantly apologized. This action is very rare for me to do.

Any question? If so please submit them in righting and contact our help desk.

Sorry Elephant, no dice.  I'm still locked out on all 3 of the DoD:S servers I have on my favorites.  I also tried to exit out of and reopen Steam, just to make sure.  Still... banned out.  Thanks for your patience guys, I know you'll get me in soon.

We checked tha ban file and even your IP to see if they are banned - and they are not...

.....odd?  Thanks for all your help Joe, but please don't lock up this topic yet.  I'm (again) with my girlfriend tonight, so I won't be able to check my server status until tomorrow night.  At which time, I'll test all the (absolutely wonderful) [BDS] servers to ensure that I can get on.  I feel like a heel in the first place for double posting in the first place, but Surf locked the other up before I could confirm I was good (and thank you guys profusely again).

And not to hijack the thread (again), but another random question.  Of you guys that read through this, which [BDS] servers are you normally on?  I feel bad that I don't know some of you at all and I want to get in the game with you guys.  Please PM me, if at all possible, because I don't want to clog up this thread any more than needed.  Thanks all!

X-fire is good to know where others are playing or if you have the BDS servers saved in your steam favorites you can also see whos on. Also just consider starting a new topic in the talk about anything area if you have non bannage questions for we reserve this area for this specific purpose only.

Guys, I don't know how else to say this, so I just will: I'm still banned.  I tried servers #1, #3, and Monkey Barrel GunGame (hotness) and still nothing.  I took a screenshot of my plight, just so you know what's up (and that I'm not as full of crap as I make myself out to be).  Any thoughts?  I MISS DA HOTNESS!

Very odd indeed.  I'm on Comcast Cable here in the Mid-Atlantic USA, so I HOPE that the IP doesn't change around too much (I don't pay for a static line or anything).  Right now, it's being piped in live at 68.37.0.99.  I also have a router, but that shouldn't be effecting anything.  Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help.  I'll try bouncing back into the server (if I can) occasionally and update you if I have any progress.

i just checked the ban lists myself too, and that IP is not listed anywhere.

Thanks for helping Doc.  The picture that I posted as an attachment should be able to be opened, but I'll host them externally just to make sure everyone can see them.  To make things easier (because these screenshots aren't going to get us far), I blitzed the server.  Basically, I took empty servers and tried multiple times within the course of a minute to get in.  I made sure servers were empty so I wouldn't disrupt gameplay.  This way, the log files should show that I am the only user trying to access the server.

That 1st screen shot worked perfectly.  I think they had the wrong Steam id, as the one listed in the pic was in our ban files.  I just removed it from all 3 DODs servers.  You should be all set now.  Let me know if you have any more issues.
