Can we get a S|T official to start a post to fill up slots for our scrim team, or what?

(Count me in playing as Spy/Engineer, depending on the map and what class is needed more. I can play both very well. Most people know me by my spy tactics.)

I'm up for playing Engineer or Medic, everyone here knows I'm pretty skilled in both. Pretty mediocre in all the other classes, but those are my best. I'd love to try scrim'in.

Yeah, same here. I up for scout or engineer if you need me. TF2 has been what I have been focusing on the most as of late. It's just so fun to play when you are getting your drink on.

For this to happen, first someone would have to take charge and look for a league that supports TF2, then try to build an active roster. After that, that person could hit up Me, Notor, or Gambit for tips, pointers, and smoothing out the details.

What if you two co-op this! When I started the Cal team I got Notor involved. He and I got the team  to where it is today and with the help of Gurney stepping in for me as caption.

Actually I just had to look up what Scrim even meant:

Scrim can refer to:

    * Scrim (material), a thin textile often used in theatre.

        * Scrim Scarf, a scarf made of the same material, used by the British Armed Forces.

    * Scrim (lighting), a device used in lighting for films.
    * Scrim, a term used in multiplayer first-person shooter computer and video games; it is a shortening of "scrimmage", to describe a battle between gaming clans.

So, aside from asking what BDS is doing in the theatre, I'll just say that if it's more complicated than another clan challenging us and us going at them, I wouldn't know a damn thing on the process ^^;;.

I'd like to see this too, if/when I can get my main rig up again so I can actually play TF2. I'd suggest a 8v8 or 9v9 format, as 6v6 is a bit too vanilla for my tastes (2 medics, 2 soldiers, a scout and a demo). But yeah, I'd be up for it if my schedule allowed.

Yeah I just PM'd Surf about this. I would like to be actively involved in the TF2 Community. I don't want to overstep anybody in the seniority sense, which is why I have held back on spearheading the whole thing.

Rusted and I can start to hammer out the details in Xfire, just give us the green light and I'll ram this sucker home. (I know, kinky)

For scrimming, CAL is pretty much the only decent league, and they don't have enough admins to start it up yet. I think most ladders are using the 6v6 format, TWL is 7v7 but looks pretty dead. I don't plan on making a scrim team for this unless someone wants to front the scrim server themselves, doing it on the main server would cause too many problems.
