As most of you know I am a DOD:S nut. Every since Snapy introduced me to it back in the 1.6 days, I have been playing pretty regularly. It was sick back then because me and Snapy worked 12 hour graveyard shifts at NEC. We  where basically shunned from society. There is a different set of folks around at night time. Snapy and I would spend 10 hours straight on dod 3 to 4 nights a week. We worked W, TH, Fri and and every other Sat from 6 PM to 6AM. We pretty much played every night we had off until morning. I would even take my PC over to his house and we would play all night gettin trashed. Good times. Things have changed and we don't kick it as much, it was easier to kick it at work, lol. We both have different jobs now and both have wives and kids. BUT THERE WAS ALWAYS DOD!!! Since the decline of DOD's popularity I haven't spent half the time gaming. I have BF2, FEAR, COD4, CS:S and TF2 but haven't been able to really get into any of them. I LOVE DOD!! Aside from that though, I have been reading a lot and watching more cool documentary's lately. It wasn't until now that I've realized how many times I've opted for gaming over anything remotely educational. Ok, maybe the herb doesn't help but fuck it, I love weed almost as much as DOD.

Being addicted to gaming is a lot different than being addicted to a game. Anyone else have any game specific addiction stories? I know some of you WoW players have some good ones...

I used to fake sick so I could stay home from school and play sega genesis.  MKII, vectorman, sonic, primal rage, toy story, fuck.  them shits were my life blood.  I became friends with kids I didnt like just I knew they had the genesis.  Id ask to stay at their house on weekends and play that shit the ENTIRE time I was over there.

whats funny is most people tell me I waste the day playing video games on Saturday, but I feel like Ive accomplished something at the end of the day.  playing CS and DoD does the same thing for me.  I now make it a nightly rendezvous before I turn in for the night to kill some Americans/Nazis CT's\T's.  BDS has become my night cap so to speak.  My wife is jealous of the time stolen by you guys.
