I wonder where the pork came from. I have a friend whose stepdad is a farmer. He was telling us one night that those worms use to be a problem, but that the US had eradicated it.
he's right it isn't as big a problem as it once was(according to my limited study of parasites

)....but you can still get a lot of parasites if you don't cook your food through(mostly pork, fish, and wild game) If I remember correctly Hookworms are the most prevalent today(and you don't get them by eating anything)...and give kids icky scratchy bloody buttonholes everywhere.
