Most of you probably heard of the bart police shooting of oscar grant but tonight i saw actual footage and i have to say that its fucked up.

fuck that, you guys might say fuck cops, but he was resisting. put yourself in the police officers situation, you have several people that you need to arrest and you have a mob of people behind you yelling and screaming. obviously the police officer whos gun went off was an accident because that guy was resisting arrest and moving around. police officers can be assholes sometimes but they are doing their job just like anyone of you are doing yours but they put themselves in danger everyday to keep turds like those off the streets and keep you safe. to say fuck cops is a ignorant statement.

IMO cops break the law more then us citizens do, just because they are the law and have a gun to back them up does not give them the right to shoot whenever they want too.  There is other ways to get a prisoner restrained without having to use a force like that, there was how many other cops there that could have helped that one cop restrain him, but most of them were standing around looking and not even attempting to help.  I do not agree with this, complete bullshit!!

The guy was on his stomach with two cops on him and then the cop shot him in the back. Dont justify that, he wasn't resisting that much. Theres a reason why Oakland has had so many riots. There was no reason for the cop to pull his gun out.

Right, the gun just slipped out of the holster, turned the safety off, and fired by itself.

If there are three cops and the guy is already on the ground, there is absolutely no reason to have a gun drawn.

on one hand you have the "criminal" who looks to me is some what resisting arrest since they had to have 2 cops on him holding him down. I do think they might have found a reason to make him stop resisting. ......and on the other hand you have the cops trying to arrest some kids and needed to arrest one by force, but he was just doing his job.

FYI: he shouldn't of pulled out the gun, there was no reason to. have they ever heard of a fucking tazer?

First of all, wtf is BART?  And the guy DIED!??  Wow.     If this cop gets off w/o any charges I would be VERY surprised.  The other guys are sitting w/ their hands up, looks like the whole bunch of em were cooperating as much as they could with Cops sitting on them     Besides, the guy was subdued, why not cuff him?

Ya know... its kinda fishy... but the officer shooting the victim looks like his intention was to TAZE the guy... the reason I say this is because as soon as he draws his weapon, the other officer stands up and moves out of the way, as to not get shocked.... this is the ONLY reason I could think of that would make this less tragic.  Tazers are almost IDENTICAL to your firearm, and in the moment I could see a rookie cop making this mistake..... but again... the only reason I think he meant to taze him is the fact that BOTH officers moved OFF of the victim before he fired his weapon. 

  If his INTENTION was to draw his service pistol... then I believe he should be held accountable for 2nd degree murder or manslaughter.
