thats pretty brave but when use see gang members that out number you, best is to get back up or just leave. nobody is safe then.

I was gonna say the same thing; cops are smarter than wading headlong into something like that.  Sorry, but heroics only happen in the movies  I always thought cops patrolled in pairs too.

yep.  if you read the story, there was a block party and the cop happened to be passing by while somebody was getting jumped by several people.  He got out to diffuse the situation, but only made it worse.  HE had a dog with him, and his issued sidearm, which was his only defense against the mob.  Maybe the guy had a deathwish, I dont know.  What I do know is that you wouldnt find me traipsing up into a mexican block party to break up a fight.

BOOOOOO  , I agree with the first part of your sentence, but being shot on the spot, I find that somewhat racist! But whatever, people have their own opinions and I'm not against you at all, I just dont agree with your way of solving street gangs. I have a few cousins that are in to the stupid shit, and a lot of them just really dont know better, thats the only life they know. A lot of these kids that get into street gangs never had a father, and in the locatons that a lot of these street gangs come about, their lives that they start off in with their fmailies aren't nearly as close as living with their fellow gang mebers, which for some, is their father-figures. If there was some way I could sit down with a soon to be gang-member each and every day and show them better ways of life, like CSS  , or playing sports, or learning how to cook and things like that, We could lower the percentage of teens that get led into these messes. It's not my or any of yours responsibilities, but why not be active about it instead of talk SHIT about it and keep feeding the fire.
