I was playing and out of nowere i was kicked and it said u have been banned from this server. I don't know what i did but am curious to know

I just got banned as well. One of you guys brought this to my attention yesterday (I don't actually know who, as they were going by the name [BDS] Rider's Butthole at the time), and I promptly went and made this post at our G4L forums

Now, from what I understood, we would be given time to fix this situation before anything major happened. At least that was my impression.

I hope that we can get this all taken care of in a way that we can all still play together. G4L to my knowledge has three members with the -R tag. before yesterday I didn't even really know who those three were. It would be a shame that those three people would stop a great deal many more from playing on your server merely by association.

If you choose not to, thats your call, as its your server, you make the rules. I'd just like to think that over these past few months we've grown friendly enough to look past the first three characters of our names, and deal with people on an individual basis. Especially when, to the best of my knowledge, we have made an honest attempt to rectify the situation.

Well I was gunna try to solve this problem privately but apparently thats not working so well.  So I guess I'll have to speak openly about this since thats the way it seems this is going.

First, I think this is an extreme over reaction to something that was a complete ACCIDENT.  Here is what I know about the situation and please fill me in if I missed anything.

We recently decided to start wearing recruiter tags since we have started expanding our roster.  The idea behind this would to be able to reach a broader community of people and promote diversity in our clan, which is always a good thing.  So, with that we (Rodriguez and myself) instated the recruiter tags for our clan.  There are only 3 people in our clan that wear these tags. 

The day after they started wearing them 1 member decided to join your server.  He had forgotten that he put the tag on the previous day and joined like he regularly does.  When he joined he was promtly kicked without a warning.  Now, I understand their is no recruiting on your server.  We all understand that.  It's not like he joined with the intent on recruiting or to maliciously hurt you clan in anyway.  He just forgot he had the tag on.  After doing a bunch of research and pming other members why he was kicked he finally found out that it was kicked because of his tag.  He promtly removed it, no questions asked, and went back to playing and having fun on ya'lls server like we all love to do.

This is the only circumstance that I know of that their was any sort of recruiting action happening in your server.  Personally, if your members decided to join our server with recruiter tags on I wouldn't care. Nor would anyone else for that matter.  That's because we have enough respect for you all as a clan that we know you wouldn't do that on our server.  And if someone did, I would address that person and the clan leaders of your clan first before I did anything else.

This brings me to my next point.  Why, if you felt so threatened by this move, did you not address it with me or Rodriguez?  It's like I pm'd Doc the other day about this subject.  We cannot fix a problem unless we know about it.  Your saying that a G4L member was recruiting on your server.  If you could be a little more specific in your accusations that would be great because as far as I know the only action that came close to represting recruiting in your server was the one I stated above.  If there was anything else then I would like to know EXACTLY what happend so I take the correct measures to fix the problem.  But until you can tell me this, then I feel this move is greatly unjustified.

I'm extremely disappointed in this decission.  As I've stated before in my pm to Doc, we are a young clan, and some of our members have not yet grasped the full responsibilities of clan etiquette.  My hope was that your members in BDS would help mentor ours in how to be respectful admins and all genuine css players.  Apparently, I've been mistaken.

Rider, I don't know if you know this but most of us have been playing here since TAG broke up back in December.  Most of the members in G4L are X TAG members or regs who played on the TAG server .  Others have all been recruited off of our server.  Rodriguez and I personally approve
every recruit into our clan.  I don't let anyone in unless they are a frequent player on our server OR I've had a history of playing with them in the past.

In parting, I can only ask you to reconcider your decission.  Not for me, but for my clan.  There are many members in my clan that love to play in your server and I think it's pretty shallow of you to punish them just because they wear a a G4L tag in front of their name.

I would LOVE to hear from someone on this because some of us are still in the dark as to what EXACTLY happened.

FYI...you guys are always welcome to come play with us anytime.  And if you concider that a recruiting plug then you obviously don't know me or my clan very well.

2. You say you are not recruiting in our server yet, most of the new people you have were our regular players who frequented our server. You do the math...

3. It's not our first time around the block in dealing with other clans coming in our servers and taking away regulars.

4. I was contacted yesterday about "Tits" coming in with the recruiter tag on. He/she had already left, so I went into the server and verbally told the other 4 G4L members if anyone came in again with the recruiter tag on everyone would be banned from our server...

No one did - when Suicide joined up today with your tags on - it was decided then that G4L had pillaged enough of the regulars from our server.

Of these 40 players only there are only 5 who have had no past hisory with TAG/BDS and play in your server with some sort of consistency to which you could call them a "reg".  Giati, Homer1338, Lizzy, Nate, and Suicide.

Lizzy and Homer both started plaing on G4L first.  Why do I know this?  Because I personally gave them the IP to come and play on your server because ours was dead and I wanted them to have fun and play with more people around them.  Both were recruited by steam pm while we were in the G4L server.

I met Suicide in the SOH server first.  Not BDS.  Today Suicide pm'd me and asked if he could join our clan.  Of course I said yes because I've played with him for a long time and he is a frequent to our server, not just yours.

The only 2 people that are in our clan that I've met while playing in BDS are Giati and Nate, both who frequent our server as well.  Giati is 14 who obviously doesn't meet your age requirements.  I approached Nate a few weeks back but it was on our server not yours and that was using steam pm's as well.  Both of these players were regs in our server before they were recruited to.

3.  What I don't think ya'll realize is that a lot of people who frequent your server frequent ours as well.  A lot of them were regs in our old server long before they started playing here in BDS.  So while it seems like we are stealing your regs we are not.  In all actuallity you can't lay claim to anyone one person as being "your reg".

4.  Did anyone else come in with that a recruiter tag on?  Even so why did no one attempt to contact the clan leaders of the original offense?  I had to find all this out from hearsay and rumors.  If I had a problem with one of your members on our server I would address them and also Rider or Doc.  Thats what your supposed to do.  You can't yell at a sells clerk and expect changes to occur.  You get a damn manager and yell at them.

To me the punishment just doesn't fit the crime.  If you wanna ban someone then ban me.  It my fault for not telling them to take their R off when they enter another server.  I truely hope that ya'll reconcider banning the entire clan.  We concidered ourselves regs on your server too.

just for the record joe i wanted to join bds but u guys didnt want me. plus the more i played the less i wanted to join not because i didnt like the server but i saw to much bullshit in the clan so i changed my mind about wanting in the bds clan. i like playing with cookies plus a lot of other g4l members so i asked cookies today if i could join his clan i was still going to play on bds just not join the clan(but why should it mater you guys didnt want me in anyway)this is just stupid bullshit and only conferms that i made the right decision
