If you bitches bothered to show up to half the shit I scheduled, matches, practices, instead of blowing a lot of teams off it would have been fun.

I think it's been proven that a majority of players don't have the dedication / time necessary to do this even remotely competitively, so don't bother. Thumbs Down
i wasnt there when gurney was a captain so this doesnt apply to me! Cool

haha QFTMFT everyone wants to play on the scrim team until they actually have to play on the scrim team. Let's face it, competitive league play is a 7 day a week job (if you want to win), if you're not willing or able to play for at least 2 hours at no notice or can't listen/follow directions, save everyone the trouble now and don't bother. It's the fastest way to end up hating everyone in your clan and hate playing the game altogether. Although sometimes leagues can be fun my advice is just throw on some stock maps once in a while and play hard, you'll have much more fun in the long term and will be far less likely to go nuclear and start another fagsodus.

haha the real problem was that we only had 3-5 guys at a time that would regularly show up for practices.  thats tough for a 6-man team.

Yes please. I love complex and power plant, but can we vote for some damn stock maps every once in a blue moon?  Our map rotation is already getting stale..... I love ice cream, but if a eat it every meal for a week I wanna puke.  I'd say the same about booze, but thats not true.   2funny

Ahh, the memories.  And Mahones, can I look forward to your endorsement when I run for President in 2012?   Wink

If the strats have been deleted from the forums, and any of you guys want them, I still have printouts of many of the old strats I could probably scan and upload somewhere.  But as others have said, getting a team together regularly can be a lot of work and sometimes frustration.  It can be rewarding, of course, but it takes a while to get there.  Given the age of the game, my guess is that there probably is no league well-suited to teams just starting out (or just getting back into it) for DOD:S anymore.

someone might interested in those strats,  maybe those BG guys would like them....i kinda feel wierd giving them out since we worked so hard on making htem and testing them and tunnig them into what we though would work.

Yeah, let me qualify my offer of strats "if . . . any of you guys want them" to include only the guys who participated in coming up with the original strats (or other BDS members with the original strat authors' permissions).
