hahaha this is great.

look i dont know that much about this from what i understand someone said he was doin a BnE so the cops checked it out. all theis gates guy had to do was say " hello officers what can i help you with" "hello sir can we see some ID to prove you live here" "sure here you go" Presents his drivers license "thank you sir, may we come in to make sure theres no one else inside just incase" " no that wont be neccesary thank you though" and thats it.

Instead what im getting is this
"hello sir we received a call about someone breaking into a house may we see some ID to prove this i your house" "Its my house i left my keys inside and had to crawl through a window to get them back" "Ok sir all we want is to see some ID to prove it to us" " why i just told you its my house thats not good enough, do you realize who your talking to." gates raising his voice towrds the end of the sentance. "sir we just want to make sure" "here here my ID are you happy now, just because im black you have to come over here and hassle me." "sir thats not the reason we" and the argument continues to escalate and winds up in him being arrested for disorderly conduct.

what these cops did was be cops your home is not your castle, if you murder someone and hide the body in your house you dont get away. you have rights but when your asked to cooperate with people who PROTECT YOUR DAMN LIFE especially you who live in the LA area just fuckin do it and then theyll leave.

If someone called the police to report a murder then it would be different. If the cops show up at my house for a B&E report and they want to search the place after I show them my ID they can kiss my ass. Telling cops to fuck off is not a crime but it is slowly becoming one since too many people let them get away with that shit.

They're nice until you try to stop them from doing something they have no right to do, then suddenly you're making a "disturbance". I'm sure Gates was being an ass, but why bother wasting time and tax money arresting him for a charge that didn't hold since he apparently didn't actually break any laws?

Agreed...no real reason to arrest him.  The Blue Brotherhood got pissed off and took his ass to jail, which is bullshit.  But if Gates hadn't lost his cool right away, none of this happens.  So, IMO, they Gates and the Police actually worked together to create this giant shit bomb and then stood right fucking over it when it exploded....and then blamed each other for being covered in shit.   Ta-Da!   

BTW...the story still isn't dead.  I can't read anymore, but the Boston Globe is having field day!  That and the 911 caller says she didn't say anything about race during the call.

Yeah I heard the 911 call and the officer radio tapes today, nothing racist about them at all which I pretty much figured anyway. I think Gates blowing up the racist card was a waste when the real issue is creeping police power going unchecked every day.
