Police arrested Austin resident James Richard "Ricky" Thompson after an anonymous tip led them to his South Austin home. Thompson, 19, was charged Saturday with two counts of capital murder and is being held in the Travis County Jail without bail.
I went to highschool with Ricky. He dated and lived with one of my coworkers a month or so ago. I never really hung out with him though, I always figured he was a jackass. Now I just know he's the cream of the crop when it comes to retards. He did such a dumb thing. "I had no choice" ; bullshit. You always have a choice. He shot John in the face execution style after beating the shit out of him with a baseball bat. Ricky's ex said he shot Stacy five times after beating her too. It doesn't make any fucking sense, murdering people to clear your debt. You're just giving yourself new and heavier debt! Life in jail or death! What a fucking idiot. Neither John Goosey or Stacey Barnett deserved this. I mean its not like he owed any debt to Stacey, she was just there.
And of course the mainstream is twisting this to make it appear that Marijuana is what caused all of this. That's stupid too. It's the marijuana prohibition that caused this! If it were legal, Ricky probably wouldn't be dealing and would have never have built up a debt to his supplier. He never would have shot him and his girlfriend.
The unfortunate part of this crime was John Goosey was involved in the selling of marijuana here in Austin
Oh so two people losing their lives isn't the unfortunate part of the crime. God damnit. This world is so messed up.
