wow. I think this could very well be the worst thing Ive heard about in a long time. How can anyone summon the gumption to do something like this to a defenseless cub? It truly breaks my heart that a mother could do something so terrible to her newborn. I don't think this is simple murder. Obviously, she should probably never walk the earth freely again, but this is true insanity...Gotta be. A relative of hers says she's been in and out of psych wards for a number of years....and the last one she was in was trying to locate her at the time of the horrible crime.
