I also like the "extra class" mods.  there are a couple classes but I like the medic one.

in this mod you can add "medics" to be a medic you type changeclass medic.  When you are a medic you run 2X as fast as other players, get a pistol, carbine with 6X clips, a bunch of smoke nades, and you can heal other people.

....it's pretty awesome.(as long as you limit to like 2 medics per team)

That looks awesome gurney. That would be something different since i haven't seen servers that have that.

I agree, I would like to check that out. 

I've only ever played with this mod on one other server (a realism) and its a crapshoot in terms of having good medics.   THe fact that I've only ever seen it on one server makes me wonder if it is a good mod or not....

u usally need the traditional medic mod as well becasue as you said alot of people dont heal others.

   I wondered when someone would say something bout that...  Actually the map needs to be updated cause the classes aren't restricted; Axis get snipers/mgs etc, so its really like Allies are Fucked cause the spawn points are still unbalanced.  It's been broken a loooong time--since updated to the new DODS.  And I'm no mapping expert so I have no idea how to fix it.  

Dystopia is one of my favorites too, but it crashes the server for some reason....

I can restrict the classes and give you a new version.  We didn't do it originally because we restricted them server side.  Let me dig up the vmf tonight and see what I can come up with.

Oh Hooray AAF is finally getting fixed!!!    You have no idea how many requests we've had from old DODS players about where that map went

Always liked AAF, it's difficult, so when u finally win as axis you feel a buzz.

That medic class mod sounds cool, tho i think DoDS is one of the best fps games still, a lot of new players probably find it doesnt have the 'bells + whistles' of bigger games like cod and the sci-fi ones. 

PS, sorry to be away for so long and ignore you guys, I'ma gonna be around a bit more from now.

The main problem with AAF is that it needs a team ratio limiter. I used to have a script that I made for it that would do it but I lost it in a reformat. I'll have to see if I can remember how it worked and get it back on there. It also needs the exploits to be fixed

Im pretty sure the team ratios work ok, i think its still limited to 6 allies and 18 axis...

Yeah that's all the spawns there are and it works great on a full server, but if there's only like 5 people on the server, they all go allies and then leave because they're too stupid to not stack the teams and ruin the map.

i need to get an auto-balance mod up... the one we have prevents teams from joining "full" teams, but if players leave, you can end up w/ 6v3 or 5v2 and it won't autobalance.
