but yeah, I figured a CSS map would be easy to port to DODS for you mapping studs, being Source games and all.  Hell, I've seen L4D maps ported to DODS.      I actually see a spike in traffic when the new DODS maps are up, so i thought more original maps might be good CPR for the server.

Porting a map over usually means making a completely different version for the other game. Since I lost all of my old vmfs and works in progress, it kinda took the wind out of my sails for a bit.

Oh... well, Albiet for me to try to tell u how to design the map, but couldn't you throw up some barriers and invis-one-way walls on teh spawns? 

We only have one small spawn-rape mape (Officemini), but its generally a well-liked map, even amongst pubbers.  I don't think it would be such a bad thing to have 1 or 2 more maps like that (as long as they're not copycats, and have an orignal design/twist to them)....  In fact most of our popular DODS maps don't ahve spawn protection environments.  As long as it's medium-large size, w/enough obstacles, its harder to spawn camp.    

Also, Sniper maps are pretty popular too, but I wish they'd all burn a painful death.

I'm enjoying the photo, which reminds me of a porn film spoof idea that I created for the Harry Potter series of books/films several years ago.

The first in the series would be called "Hairy Pooter and the Sorcerer's Bone."  When I see "Harry Potter" and "The Rock" in the same picture, that's what it makes me think of, and when you throw in pro wrestling, all I can say is "Can't you smell that the Rock is cumming?"

Ah, I didn't know the DOD server was up..or if it went down for a little while or something. Every time I got on DOD it was only that AOF server...which blows. x.X Thusly I haven't really played in a little while now.

Welcome back!  long time no see.   Unfortuneatly, its looking like the DODS server days are numbered; I think Rider is gonna let the lease on it expire.  BUt we're def gonna get a server for a "newer" game to take its place, so stay tuned.

That's a total drag, T_T I loved those DoD servers. The rest are sort of rubbish. 
A new game though eh? I'll wait about to see what happens. I can barely find time to come online to even check email these days anyway but I want to see what happens.
