Fucking Rebel.

I was never really fond of the Pledge of Allegiance, but then again the last time I did it was probably in my private school days where it was mandatory every morning.

After a while, I stopped saying it for I don't agree with the 1954 version where they added "under God".

/agreed  I don't think I did it for a long time in middle school just becasue they said I had to.  I do hate when people don't stand and take off there hats for the National Anthem (of any country) and talk during it and shit...it's like 5 min tops.

Basketball Traditions
At the end of the National Anthem, WSU Cougar fans replace "home of the brave" with "home of the Cougs" and simultaneously yell out the line.

Soungs great cause we all say it in perfect harmony.  We do it @ football games too.  Some think its disrespectful, but its still fun.

I really never understood the Pledge of Allegiance, but I have always had a strong love for my country, and I still do! I still do now and will always stand and show my appreciation to my Nation's Flag, or any other Nation's Flag, whether I like the country or not!  I always get irritated with people who don't stand or who talk bad about how the US of A sucks! They don't realize what they are saying, because they don't realize how good they have it! Even in this tough economical time, we are still a strong nation, and there is nothing that can bring us down!
