Be warned, T-Bone Junction is pretty hard core, even within the friendly confines.

I was wandering around TBJ looking for car parts for the first mission.  I opened a locker, and out popped a level 61 midget (I think the label was "Meat Stick").  I hosed him down at point blank range with one of my best legendary SMGs, emptying several clips into him while barely scrubbing any health off of him.  And so I died.

I'll take him down next time because I won't be surprised, but I will be carrying either a sniper rifle or boomstick.

Co-op is probably the way to go, though . . .

FYI -- It looks like you may need the Mad Moxxi Underdome DLC in order to complete some of the missions, but if you don't have that DLC, don't buy it unless you get stuck.

Nope.  My XP was there.

I've died more in the last hour than I did through the last 20+ levels combined.
