Wow I actually heard this on the radio when I was out a little while ago running some errands, one step closer to your personal identity being safe. Not a very good way to earn a living, I hate those kind of hackers that are always up to no good.

AS I understand it now the people who use the botnets and actually partake in the iden theft are your usual retarded criminals who buy the software from hackers or lease time from hackers or hacker gangs..or organized crime that hired hackers....so yeah not usually the brains that get caught.

though they get caught just as much i suppose.

Yeah I feel the same about the dam losers that use the internet to commit crimes. Yeah it is amazing anyone that knows JavaScript and c++ can commit these crimes and you don’t even have to write the code it is out there on the internet prewritten. You just need an RC server that is on all day 24/7 for the botnet to return its info to its master. It is like a little robot out there on the internet that just goes from computer to computer infecting and a lot of the people out there don’t even know that they are infected. I keep my system up to date everyday and constantly checking those files and folders where these bustards reside on a computer.

although what they do is bad, i have no sympathy for those who think they are oblivious and use the net without firewalls, security or any protection. In this case, it's true that if you don't use it, you will loose it.
