Agreed. DRM has only one effect, frustrating the legal paying customers while those who either say "fuck this" or just pirate the game will find a way around the DRM. As long as there are companies making absurd amounts of money and people with not nearly as much money wanting to play games, this will happen. DRM only does one thing, alienates legitimate consumers

I was considering buying Silent Hunter 5 on Steam but then I noticed it has their new DRM scheme too. It wouldn't be that big of a deal to me except I'm already dealing with one game I can't play.
