My dog Samson had been sick, so we took him to the vet, I think it was Wed of last week. He had some kind of big lump on one of his ears. The vet drained it and gave us some antibiotics. We brought him back home and a couple of days later he stopped eating. We just kept giving him his medicine but it didn't seem to be working. By Saturday he was breathing real hard and very fast, like he had just got done running. By sunday we knew something was very wrong, so we took him back to see the vet. And as we were there he kept falling down. The vet took some x-rays and found a big mass in his hind quarters throughout his body. He explained to us he has some kind of cancer but wasn't sure what exactly it was. He had told us he was not going to make it much longer and recommended to have him euthanized. My son was holding Samson while the vet went to get what he needed to but him down. And by the time he got back Samson passed away. He was 13 yrs old, so I guess he had a pretty good run. He was one of the best dogs I have ever had. It was a few days of tears in our house. We are going to have him cremated and we bought a beautiful cedar box with his name on it. Me and Samson..  This one was him telling me lets go outside..  |

Thanks my brothers.  For sure Unit, he had a good size yard to run in but I can see him in a never ending field that he can run in. He will be missed. |
