I didn't mind seeing the underdogs win yesterday. I did get my two picks today though. It was nice to see Vick lose too.

The only real surprise for me over the weekend was the Colts losing to the Jets.

The Saints were sliding and the Seahawks were being taken too lightly.

The Kansas City Chiefs have a young team, too young to stand up to the relentless defense of the Ravens.

Green Bay was peaking as Philly was sliding.

The Colts had to run the table to win the division, and it was hard to think they'd lose at home.  But they did.

My predictions for next week:

The Patriots will destroy the Jets.  The Jets had too much emotion riding on the Colts game, and the Pats are a juggernaut right now.

Chicago will take out the Seahawks, who need the home field to have a chance.

Green Bay will beat Atlanta.  The Pack is too well-balanced right now and have a lot of momentum.

I would not bet against the Ravens, but I think the Steelers will eke out a win.

I see the Super Bowl as the Pats agains the Pack.

The Divisonal games are going pretty much the way I expected EXCEPT for the Jets-Patriots game (so far).   The Jets are playing with a lot more heart and fire than I thought they'd have, but the Pats tend to make great adjustments at half-time.

When I started typing this post, the score was 14-3 Jets.  It's now 14-11.

New prediction: Packers v. Jets in the Super Bowl.

The Jets were awesome today.  If their D can stop Manning and Brady, Big Ben shouldn't be a problem.

I with you Fog, I think after seeing the Jets do what they have done so far they have a good chance on shutting down the Steelers.  Packers/Bears would be sick but I just don't see it happening.. Bears/Jets. And Jets to win it all.
