The 2011 edition of 1Up's Annual 101 of the Best Free Games out there.  There's a couple "Free-mium" games (like LOTRO, where most of the game is free, but there's more content for paying customers) on the list, but most are flash, small downloads, that sort of thing.  The link above also has their previous years' lists back to '06, and there's a lot of good stuff out there still.
