My computer is good but i want better, i need a upgrade in ram and and a new videocard, do you know somewhere i can find this stuff and keep it cheap ( under $400 )?

I've bought the majority of stuff in my box on ebay.  First thing you need to know is whether or not you can upgrade, and whether or not it'd be worth it.  You might also try www.pricewatch.com, Ars Technica's pricegrabber, or froogle, once you know what you're looking for.

If you still have an motherboard with AGP, you may need to consider upgrading to mobo with PCIe instead, depending on your intended video card upgrade.  This also means faster ram, and probably require a new chip, again depending on how much you wanna splurge.

What's your current setup?  Try to be as specific as possible - Motherboard Vendor, make and model, current CPU, and RAM Specs...

400 can go a long way now, you just gotta find the deal you want.  Since AMD is moving from 939 to AM2, 939-based motherboards and chips should see some discounts.
