I was playing in one of your servers today and had a run in with one of your admins that I thought needed to be brought up here because he said he was going to have me banned.  

What started the whole deal was over voice I said "Can we please change this map I don't like it."  Refferring to the 4 Towers map.

I was then promptly called an Asshole by [BDS] Aimless and told to leave the server and not come back.  A few other people on the server jumped in the coversation on both sides and started calling me rude names as well as a few sticking up for me.  I was then kicked a couple of times while I tried to ask why I kept getting kicked, Aimless told me that he didn't need to explain anything to me.  Finally after the third time getting kicked he finally told me that I insulted his friend (Doc) who made the map.  Surf and Delta? then joined and not seeing the whole story were very diplomatic about the situation.  I did tell Aimless that I wasn't going to leave until he gave me a reason why I kept getting kicked and his response was typed "Fuk you I told you to leave."  

Throughout this whole situation I never insulted anyone on the server, nor did I insult Aimless, even though a few insults came my way.  I will say to Aimless, if what I said offended you then I APOLOGIZE here on your forums in front of your clan.

To DOC, I love most (99%) of the maps you've created, but I feel I am intitled to not like one or two, everyone has there favorites as I'm sure you do.  This is not insulting you, it is a tribute to you that I and most people I know come to the BDS servers for the maps created by you.

I have played for quite a while on the BDS Servers with many admins and never had a problem.  I always play on BDS Servers when there is an empty spot and even told Aimless that I had no problem with the server or the admins, but rather just didn't like that particular map.  In my opinion this whole situation was blown way out of proportion.  Again, if anyone thinks I intentionally insulted Doc, then I apologize, that was not my intent.

Feel free to email me on this subject as I will check back on the forums for the status.

Well, I dont know anything about Aimless, but I will say that BDS has strict rules, and I trust all admins. Therefore, I think youre not telling the whole story. If you arent leaving anything out, then Im with you. If Doc checks the logs, finds out you were lieing then....You both lied to us, AND did whatever you did...So Im gonna have to wait untill the logs are checked.

I invite any member to check the logs on what was said.  I would be interested to see those logs myself, whether posted here or in an email.  I am confident in what you'll find.

I am not being cocky, I don't think I have crossed any lines here.  All I am saying is that I know what I said and am confident in what the logs will show.

This is how the first incident started so I will make this my last post until the logs are reviewed as I don't want anything here blown out of proportion, nor do I wish argue with anyone on the difference between cockiness and confidence.  The logs will answer all.

We here at BDS are very sensative and insulting our members and/or our maps is a bannable offense. You have obviously learned that the hard way.

I never cuss either spoken or typed on any server as I'm a member of [CIB] and we don't allow it.  CIB doesn't have a Source server so I choose to play on your servers for the reasons I stated in my first post.  The logs will show that there were many people cussing, but I was not one of them.

I agree with your last statement that insulting members and/or your maps is bad, however, I never insulted anyone (purposly), including Aimless as I stated in my first post.

Our logs don't capture voice comm, and he says you said it over the microphone.

I don't care what your excuses are, Aimless said you said that, so you did.

You can admit that you did and apologize for it, and maybe there is something we can do, or you can keep denying it, and we can keep you banned.

We try very hard to keep a good playing environment for our members and the public community, and you did something to violate said playing environment. You did because Aimless said you did. So let's get by that part and move to your next set of options.

I guess you've made up your mind and that's where you are going to stand.   I'm not going to agree to wording I didn't use, but as quoted above I've apologized if I offended anyone twice.  I will say it again, I apologize.

While my feelings are crushed, I suppose there is no reason to expect that everyone would love 4 Towers (despite the fact it was on Valves top 20 maps list for ever).  

As far as I am concerned, there is no harm done.  As such I haven't banned you, and you are still free to play on the servers.

Respect All BDS members, and if you get into a disagreement with one just leave or stay quiet..... dont argue, insult or bitch and things will remain relaxed and a fun gaming experience.

Rotor your initial post about the incident was not accurate.  I must say your intelligent writing does not sway my thoughts or reaction to your behavior on our server the other day.  You were rude and disrepectful to me, BDS, and DOC.  I think the fact that you made all your comments by voice makes you feel safe.  Yes I called you an asshole and asked you to leave and did it by writing it, and not using the mic.  But this was only typed because I have had to yell at people for many years and I did not feel like arguing verbally.  However I got dragged into a debate with you when you began whining to Surf when he came in the server, Poor Surf just wanted to play.  Since you wouldnt leave or back down or simply apologize on the spot is the only reason it went as far as it did.  And yes I told you that I did not need to explain why you were kicked. It was because you sounded like you may be over twelve years old and could put 2 and 2 together and realize that you were kicked right after your ASSHAT comments.  Maybe I was wrong.

To the other BDS members, there was a lot said verbally between the two of us, way more, to much to get into probably.  I back the clan and its members so I jumped on this guy when he made it clear that he thought Four Towers map sucked and he didnt care who made it.  I wanted him to know that you cant come to our porch and take a crap on it.  By the way there were several other players who thought he should be banned that were in the server at the time.  This guy is a smooth operator trying to throw water on the flames now.

Lastly I will give you this Rotorhead, you did come to our forums to apologize and that does show good will on your part.  I just wonder if it was because you were starting to feel the heat and put some thought in your comments before sharing them this time.  If you are as cool as some say, I certainly would not be typing this now........(SIGH)
