I was there last night and heard this... It just killed me to hear JimJoe3 say this especially after the whole other long winded discussion and the way BDS just does not condone these type of remarks. I understand the context it was proclaimed but again it is just not tolerated here like Juice said.

I don't think that is possible through steam. you'd have to set up steam to make the mic always on, or voice activated. and i am pretty sure that isn't possible. My mic is always on, but you can only hear you when i press the button for the mic in-game

Unless everyone in that game, including the pubbers, were on TeamSpeak, then he could have used the voice activated excuse. However, I highly doubt that would ever happen because many of our own members don't even know that TS exists.

Valve has made an annoying purpose to press another key, just another reason to have twelve fingers. DOD:S doesn't have an option to voice activate your mic, you MUST press the 'Any' key in order to flame people openly. If you can't find the 'Any' key, you don't need to play DOD:S.

And just to put in my two bits now while its fresh in everyones mind. I don't want a bunch of bleeding hearts asking for a vote to let this mofo in a few months from now, because he has reformed, is a nice guy, or whatever the lame ass pity story is.

Then again perhaps he should get the same ridiculous second chance some others have recently got for the exact same breaking of the clan rules.
